Last night hubby and I went to dinner at our friends' place, newly wed, Drew & Sarah. They've been in our life group since last year and we love them. When we first met they were dating; really cute couple, looked like they'd been together for years, when really they had only known each other for a few months. Since, they've gotten married and become good friends of ours. We've hung out at our place several times, gone to the park on weekends together, but never before visited their place until tonight.
They live on campus at the Christian School they work at, Evangel. They always described their entire apartment as the size of our living room, but it was definitely bigger than that, and very cute and accommodating. Wish I had thought of taking a picture of it.
Sarah made us these incredible stuffed peppers. I've never had anything like them. Delicious. Then for dessert, this ridiculously good blueberry cobbler thing, with vanilla ice cream. The edges were caramelized and chewy... it was so good.
They gave us a tour around the school. Drew's classroom was sooooo cute!! Exactly how you see it in the movies. Huge ceilings, big wall to wall windows with curtains, a giant blackboard, a massive wall map, he even had this adorable stuffed teddy bear sitting on a shelf of books with a little table globe behind him! The long hallways lined with lockers was awesome too!! I totally felt like I was on Boy Meets World or something. haha. We (aka *I*) couldn't help posing all "high school-ish". =)
The last stop was their roof. Check out that view!!! ^ I was very impressed with my little iphone and the pic it captured. Next time I'll bring my good camera.
